A public university called the Institute of Space Technology (often referred to as IST) is situated in Islamabad, Pakistan. Its primary areas of study include astronautics, aeronautical engineering, and astronomy. On November 21, 2013, the Institute of Space Technology launched iCUBE-1, Pakistan’s first Cubesat satellite, from Yasny Launch Base, Russia.
Under the direction of the Pakistan National Space Agency, it was founded in 2002. In collaboration with Beihang University and the University of Surrey, IST provides a broad range of undergraduate and graduate degrees. IST has a management standard that has been ISO recognised since 2008. On a 573-acre campus outside of Islamabad, IST is located. According to the Higher Education Commission’s rankings, it is one of the best institutions.
