A public university called the NED University of Engineering & Technology is situated in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. One of Pakistan’s oldest and top engineering schools, it is renowned for its top-notch faculty members and graduates. It is a government-appointed organisation known for awarding degrees in Pakistan and is associated with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
Before 1947, during the British Empire, the NED College was initially connected to the University of Bombay (now known as the University of Mumbai). In 1947, the Government of Sindh took control of this institution and changed its name to the NED Government Engineering College.
Numerous undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programmes are available at NED University. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes in engineering, science, and architecture. It belongs to the United Kingdom Association of Commonwealth Universities.
