Institute of Business Administration or also known as IBA is located in Karachi city and considered one of the best business universities in Pakistan. IBA was established in 1955 as one of the one of the oldest business school in the country. Initially IBA was started with the assistance of the government of Pakistan along with the support of Wharton School and the University of Southern California.

IBA is ranked at number 1 in the Business category of HEC rankings and ranked number 3 in overall business category ranking. The Institute is 2nd in Pakistan which was awarded the coveted certification by the South Asian Quality System. Institute of Business Administration is considered one of the best for institute BBA/MBA studies.

IBA is in collaboration with 15 international institutions i.e. Babson College, Indian School of Business, S. P. Jain Institute and the Northwestern University.

it notable alumni includes Mamnoon Hussain (former President of Pakistan), Shaukat Aziz (former Pakistani Prime Minister), Mohammad Uzair (renowned economist), Asad Umer (former Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs) and Quentin D’Silva (business leader).
