Aitchison was founded in 1886 with a focus on educating the “princely elite”. Since independence, this has given way to an egalitarian mix of students from all parts of the country. Aitchison College is an independent semi-private boys’ school for 1st to 13th grade boarding schools and day students in Lahore, Pakistan. As a character development tool, there is a tradition of providing education using scholars, sports, and extracurricular activities.
This institute is the only Pakistani school that is a member of the G30 schools in the world. Aichison has trained former Prime Minister Imran Khan, former President Farouk Regari, lawyers, cricketers and politicians.
The school is designed to prepare students for college education, following a curriculum designed to culminate with an International General Education Certificate and AS / A level qualifications. The Cambridge syllabus is taught in secondary and preparatory schools, with additional options for AgaKhan Matric and FSc in advanced.
