Nishtar Medical University (previously Nishtar Medical College) is a public university in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, that specialises in health sciences. It is one of Pakistan’s oldest medical institutes, having been founded shortly after the country’s independence. It offers medical, dental, allied health sciences, and nursing degree programmes. It is named after Sardar Abdur Rub Nishtar, the founder of the Pakistan movement and afterwards Governor of Punjab, Pakistan.
All public medical and dental colleges have a coordinated admissions system at the provincial level.
