Ziauddin University is a growing, prestigious private Pakistani university recognised by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. It is named after Dr. Sir Ziauddin Ahmed, Aligarh Muslim University’s longest-serving Vice Chancellor and Rector (1935–1947). Dr. Ziauddin was a remarkable individual, who excelled as a mathematician, an eminent educator, and a powerful advocate for the social, educational, and political development of Muslims on the Indo-Pak peninsula.

Ziauddin University offers a diverse range of undergraduate, graduate, master’s, and doctoral degree programmes. The initial focus was on health and allied health sciences, but since becoming a general university, it has grown into a variety of subjects of study. ZU offers degree programmes in medicine, dental sciences, pharmacy, bio-medical engineering, allied health sciences, media and communications studies, physical therapy, nursing, and speech, language, and hearing sciences as among the degree programmes offered at ZU.
At Zia-Uddin University, intermediate with science, passed with at least 70% points or an A grade, is required for admission. Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree with good grades are likely to be accepted into one of the university’s medical programmes
