The University of Education (UE) is a public research university located in the city area of Lahore. It was established in year 2002 aiming for the highest seat of learning in teacher education with clear goals and objectives of producing quality teachers of international standards.
The University of Education has several campuses, divisions and affiliated colleges. UE offers undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs in various academic disciplines including arts and science. It enrolls about 13,000 students and about 700 staff. It has been ranked as one of the best institutions of higher learning in Pakistan by HEC in 2010.
