MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, also known as the Bachelor of Medicine, in Pakistan and around the world (MBBS). It is a university-based degree programme that allows students to pursue doctoral studies in a variety of disciplines while still following the Bachelor of Medicine curriculum.

  1. King Edward Medical university

King Edward Medical University (KEMU) is a public medical university. The      university was founded in 1860 and is named after King Edward VII. Students with the greatest academic merit in Punjab are admitted to King Edward Medical University, Each year the percentage of each of these exams that contributes to the final merit varies. The time it takes to graduate is five years.

Nishtar Medical University (previously Nishtar Medical College) is a public university in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, that specialises in health sciences. It is one of Pakistan’s oldest medical institutes, having been founded shortly after the country’s independence .All public medical and dental colleges have a coordinated admissions system at the provincial level. After passing the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or a comparable test, students are eligible to apply for MBBS or BDS programmes.

Sargodha Medical Institution is a public medical college in the Pakistani city of Sargodha. It is a part of the University of Sargodha’s constituent colleges. It offers an undergraduate MBBS degree through University of Health Sciences (Lahore) and postgraduate training programmes through College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) It is recognised and included in the International Medical Education Directory as one of the colleges (IMED). The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has granted it accreditation (PMDC).

Faisalabad Medical University is a 158-acre campus on Sargodha Road in Faisalabad, Pakistan. It was founded in 1973. Allied Hospital, District Headquarters Hospital, and Government General Hospital Ghulam Muhammad Abad Faisalabad are teaching hospitals connected with the university. The General Medical Council in London, England, recognises FMU, and it is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (it was also listed in the now discontinued International Medical Education Directory).

  1. Quaid e Azam medical college

The Quaid e Azam Medical College (also known as QAMC) is a medical school in Bahawalpur, Pakistan.  Lt Gen Attique-ur-Rehman, the then-Governor of Punjab, lay the foundation stone for Quaid e Azam Medical College on December 2, 1971. (retd).  The college is also associated with Bahawal Victoria Hospital and Civil Hospital Bahawalpur for clinical training. Prof Dr Nawab Muhammad Khan was the school’s first Principal. The University of Health Sciences, Lahore, is connected with QAMC (UHS). Furthermore, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council recognise it (PM&DC).

  1. Services Institute of medical sciences

The Services Institute of Medical Sciences is a public medical school in Lahore that was founded in 2003. The affiliated teaching hospitals include Services Hospital and Punjab Institute of Mental Health. SIMS is the official abbreviation. The college admits students on the basis of merit, which is determined by the Pakistan Medical Commission’s annual centralised Medical College Admission Test. In the case of international students, admission is handled by Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission.

  1. Army medical college, Rawalpindi

Army Medical College was founded as a residential institution in Rawalpindi in 1977. For the award of an MBBS degree, the College was initially connected with Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad. In 1981, the first batch of 100 students graduated from the MBBS programme, and the college was accredited by the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme began in the same year. Rawalpindi, a cantonment city, is home to the college. The Army Medical College is a residential college set on a lovely campus. It has five male students’ hostels and two female students’ hostels.
