The Lahore School of Economics, sometimes known as “The Lahore School,” was founded in 1993 and chartered by the Punjab government in January 1997 through the Lahore School of Economics Act 1997. The Lahore School of Economics has a rating of 3.9 on EDU opinions. According to the Higher Education Commission’s Business Schools ranking, the Lahore School of Economics has consistently ranked second best in Pakistan since 2015.

It presently has about 3,000 students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programmes, as well as 200 teaching members. The academic offerings of The Lahore School include courses in Media Studies, Environmental Sciences & Policy, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics. The School’s specialised faculties, departments, and research centres offer both graduate and undergraduate programmes. It is Pakistan’s top academic institution, with 2700 graduate and undergraduate students and 130 full-time teaching members.

The 35-acre Main Campus is situated in Lahore at the junction of Burki Road and DHA Phase VI Main Boulevard.
