The Lahore School of Economics (LSE) is commonly known “The Lahore School” was established in 1993; work as an independent research university located in Lahore city of Punjab. It got chartered in 1997 by the government of Punjab. LSE has about 200 trained faculty and over 3,000 students are catered who are studying undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programs. LSE is 2 campuses; the Main campus and the City campus.
The Lahore School was established by Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, a McGill qualified economist. The Main campus spreads over 50 acres and the city campus is located in Gulberg town Lahore.
The Lahore School offers academic programs in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Environmental Sciences and Media Studies, Art and Design. The School offers both Graduate and Undergraduate programs within specialized faculties, research centres and departments. LSE is a leading academic Economics institution of Pakistan and is one of the best business schools of Pakistan and is ranked 2nd best Pakistani university for a business education by HEC in 2015 ranking.
